Does Zotero send information to the website from which I this is downloading an article?
Hello,
Please, I would appreciate if anybody helped me with the following doubt: when I am downloading web items (articles) using zotero, do you send zotero any kind of information to the server from where I am downloading the article? That is, can the server (from I am downloading the article) know what operating system use, my identity or some other data?
Thanks in advance

When you go on a website, though, they do obviously know a fair amount about you, including your browser (user agent) which typically includes your OS as well as your IP address, which (unless you actively try to cloak it) would tell them a fair amount about your location. And that's before they're using any tracking cookies. None of that has anything to do with Zotero, though.
