Changing in-text citation

Hi,

I'm having trouble changing the in-text citation language. At my university they want the in-text citation to look like this: (Clark, 2005: 54) with author-date-pagenumber when referring to a page number. I can't seem to find out what I need to do to edit my in-text citation so that it does that instead of (Clark, 2005 s. 4) (s stands for page).

depends on the citation style. Which are you using?

Currently I'm using APA 7th edition, but I haven't seen any citation style that uses the semicolon after year

There are a bunch, American Sociological Association (ASA) is probably the most prominent one:

Otherwise, try out some of the styles labelled as "Harvard"
