I just received an error when I changed a web page to a document item type and attempted to attach a pdf. I think, however, the issue is likely with my laptop which sometimes doesn't play nice even after a restart.

You should also check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences.
Thank you for the response. after restarting Zotero on my laptop the issue disappeared. I just checked database integrity on my desktop machine and no issues were found. I'm pretty sure the issue was because my laptop was being tired and emotional last night.
