The "Select All" function from the Edit menu isn't working

When trying to select the contents of a collection or sub-collection, the "Select All" from the Edit menu, doesn't select anything.

Win 10 Enterprise
Ver. 20H2
OS Build 19042.2364

Zotero 6.0.20

Steps to reproduce:
Start Zotero
Open a collection OR open a collection and click on an item
From Edit menu, click on Select All
My result: nothing selected beyond the initial item I clicked

    You're aware that ctrl+a works, though?

    Lol, that I wasn't. Of course it does beg the question of what that menu item does then?

    I think it should work (but also doesn't for me). But I'm not sure -- the edit menu has a bit of a weird history.

    Select All under Edit works when you click on any of the fields in the Info pane. I think it is only intended for selecting text from these fields. Not sure why, especially when the ctrl-A shortcut on items does work.
