Can't resolve "Is Zotero Running?"

I use Zotero Connector in Microsoft Edge on a Windows 11 machine. When I click on the icon to "Save to Zotero", all I get is the "Is Zotero Running?" pop-up every time. I've followed all the troubleshooting instructions (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable). I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Zotero Connector and the browser extension. I have uninstalled every other extension I had. I have checked the http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping port and get a "Zotero is running" message. The same happens when I create a new user profile, and the same problem persists when I use Chrome instead.

Any ideas what else I can try?
