Worse experience of Windows with multiple PDF tabs in Zotero6.0.20

Although Zotero 6.0.20 reduce memory usage on Windows with multiple PDF tabs, if I have more than 2 PDFs open, I can't switch to other tabs quickly and I have to wait for Zotero to re-render, I wish Zotero would give us a button to use more memory.

We've increased the limit on Windows to 3 tabs in 6.0.22. On Windows, Zotero can currently only use ~3 GB of memory, regardless of how much system memory there is, so there needs to be a limit to keep Zotero from getting very slow. The memory limititation will be removed in Zotero 7, planned for later this year.
  • That's great. It enhanced my experience in zotero.Hope that 64-bit version of Zotero7 will be comming soon. Beside, I hope that the migration will be seamless.
  • We're not sure yet if we'll be able to auto-upgrade people on 32-bit builds to the 64-bit build, but we'll certainly make sure it's possible to install the 64-bit version and have that replace the 32-bit version without any problems.
  • I think the most important thing is that the configuration files and extensions can be migrated to the new version, if not seamlessly, I hope that zotero7 can coexist with zotero6
