  • Zotero fails to provide citation
  • What exactly are you doing to trigger that?
  • Hi @dstillman I don't know what your question mean but this code 1033450383 I click help then reports error and I copied the error ID 1033450383.

The problem with my Zotero is that when I click Zotero in Microsoft word then click add citation it fail to add the saved attachments to citations.

It has just started recently before it was working properly.
  • I mean what exactly are you doing in Word to trigger this problem. Does it happen in a new, empty document? Only in a specific document? Only when trying to customize an existing citation? Only when selecting a certain item?

See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
  • Thanks for the prompt reply and follow-up, lastly I managed to solve the problem. Zotero fail to cite the references and citations because when I attached the pdf files and uploaded them to Zotero their metadata was not synchronized. What I did I highlighted all the uploaded pdfs in Zotero about 300+ then I select retrieve met data all pdf synchronized ....problem solved.

Such problem is likely to happen when you upoad/attach a bulk of pdf into Zotero at once, metadata fails to retieve them
