Upgrade Storagezotero connector not excute any operation (unpaywall) on any browser

I am using m1 macbook pro and the latest version of zotero. when I use zotero connector on any browser (chrome, edge, firefox, safari), it just grabs the metadata and does not perform any action to grab the pdf document, even though the document is downloadable in the page, e.g. the document: https://www.nature.com/articles/ 315680a0.
The Zotero connector doesn't even show any hints that it's trying to fetch documents, such as a display saying that the document cannot be downloaded.
But，I can enter to the zotero and use the button "find available PDF" to download the pdf, so I want to what should I do to directly download the pdf with zotero connector. thank you.

2) Make sure you’re not trying to save to one of your open public groups, which don’t allow files.
