Suddenly all my pdfs are missing

I synced about 2 weeks ago and all my pdfs (approx 2000) were put onto my computer.
I dropped my computer and had to reinstall ubuntu.
Now when I try to sync zotero, only ~20 of my entries have pdfs. When I look in the web library the entries are also missing pdfs.

You're at your file storage quota, so they were just never uploaded. Zotero would've been showing you a warning about that in the toolbar on every sync unless you had disabled file syncing.

You would need to restore from a backup of your data directory.
