How to delete foot note

I am just starting to use the zotero. I use it in google doc inorder to cite the references and add bibliography. For inserting the bibliography in my doc I have to use citation first. When I use citation icon, always a footnote appears. I just want to have a numbering model citation and a bibliography at the end of the doc. How can I remove footnote from the end of each page without deleting the numbering citation?

You'd need to switch the citation style under "Document Preferences" to a numeric style (you're using a note/footnote style).

Of the standard citation styles that come pre-installed, you can use AMA.

    Otherwise, one of these: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=numeric&dependent=0
  • I add 10th ed (American Medical Association Style) to my zotero style, but I do not find any options containing numeric style or footnote style. In which section of zotero preferences I should find it? It was not in the export or cite section.
  • Styles *are* footnote or numeric, that's not an option you select. AMA is numeric, Chicago (which I assume you used before) uses footnotes.
You want to select the style for any given document in the "Document Preferences" for Zotero in Google Docs, not anywhere in Zotero itself.
  • I change the style in zotero but when I use it to add citation in google doc still I have the footnotes
  • Where exactly did you change the style? -- again, you do not change the style for a document in Zotero. The option is in the Google doc (though in the Zotero toolbar there).
  • I made the changes in google docs and now it works properly. Thanks for your help
