Cannot launch Zotero in Fedora 37

Fedora 37 Silverblue, Gnome shell 43.2, Wayland, 980Ti, i7 6th gen.

Installed flatpak Zotero, output when launching is as follows:
```
$ flatpak run org.zotero.Zotero
Gtk-Message: 15:34:51.028: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 15:34:51.029: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
```
There is no window popup.

No window popup either upon launching by executing the binary provided in the download page.
  • The Zotero Flatpak is maintained by a 3rd party maintainer. You should check if you can run Zotero from the downloaded tarball as described here: https://www.zotero.org/support/installation#linux

    If so, you can either just run with that or report to the flatpak package maintainer(s)
  • I did "[d]ownload the tarball, extract the contents and run zotero from that directory to start Zotero" as stated here: "[n]o window popup either upon launching by executing the binary provided in the download page"

    There was no window that opened upon executing the zotero binary that I extrated from the .tar.bz2

    How do I report to the flatpak maintainer? I am not sure where to do that.
  • How exactly are you executing the binary in the tarball? What was the output? As adamsmith says, we don't have anything to do with the Flatpak and can't help with that. We can only help with the tarball.
