Regarding annotations of a PDF across multiple libraries

I have a PDF that I want both in My Library and in a Group Library. What would be the most efficient way to carry over annotations from that PDF in My Library to the PDF in the group library and vice versa? I tried simply dragging the PDF from one library to the other, and even deleting the file in one library before copying, but in neither instance do the annotations carry over.

    Dragging the parent item will transfer the attachment and its annotations as long as you haven't disabled attachment/annotation copying in the General pane of the preferences.

    You do currently have to delete the item in the target library first if it was previously dragged in either direction.

    Thank you! I made the mistake of merely removing the item from the target collection instead of moving it to trash.
