quick format citation opens in a new window

the quick format citation ( the red dialogue box) opens in a new window of its own. So Whenever I add citations, it automatically exists me from word. I want to stay! Please help me, thank you!

    I'm not really sure what you're asking for here. The citation dialog is a separate window, because it's part of the Zotero app, not part of Word. That's just how it works on a technical level. The citation dialog should appear on top of Word and then disappear when you make your selection, putting you back into your document. What exactly is the problem?
