My zotero has unlinked from my google docs and the zotero menu is inactive on docs. What can i do to re link and resume my work?

Not totally clear what you mean by "unlinked from my google docs", but you should disable all other browser extensions and reload Google Docs and see if that helps. If it doesn't, we'd want a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading Google Docs and trying to cite.
