Feature Request: floating comment box for highlights in pdf reader desktop

One of the things I love about the iPad app is that when I highlight something, the space where I can add a comment is front and centre. Desktop, however, it is in a little screen to the bottom left.

I'd love to either have a similar kind of floating highlight/comment box to come up in in front of the highlighted text on the desktop app; or some kind of capacity to separate and float the highlight panel to a different location.

    I'm not totally sure what you mean by "bottom left". The annotation widget on desktop can appear in two places: in the left sidebar if it's open or in a popup that appears centered directly below the highlighted text if the sidebar is closed. You're aware of both of these modes?
