can't import ris files to zotero
I searched a paper's reference on scopus:
https://www.scopus.com/results/references.uri?sort=cp-f&src=r&imp=t&sid=869654ca8990c00130ce682aef1c0e0c&sot=rec&sdt=citedreferences&sl=19&s=CITEID(85131400607)&origin=recordpage&citingId=2-s2.0-85131400607&citeCnt=1&txGid=c3e32f72bfc41bd9398effd00638db9e
But when I export the search result as ris, the zotero connector shows:This item could not be saved because Zotero is not open or is unreachable. Please open Zotero and try again.
I can't fix it even if I restart edge, zotero, my computer.
However, I can import the file to Mendeley Reference Manager and import to zotero online.
But if I export ris files from mendeley and import to zotero, zotero shows i imported 0 items.
.bib files can't be imported either.
Hoping to find a good way to solve the problem , or I had to import all the library if I import from mendeley online.
And the firtst few lines in the .ris file:

AB - Concealing confidential messages within DNA sequences has turned into a well-known research in latest years. This paper presents a modified scheme which is based on the Table Lookup Substitution Method (TLSM) to increase its security. The proposed scheme uses an 8-bit binary coding to transform a reference DNA sequence into a binary format to increase the security of the original TLSM. A comparison between the proposed modified scheme with the existing schemes besides the original TLSM is presented. The results and comparisons have proven the ability of the proposed scheme in balancing among the three critical properties for any DNA steganography scheme: capacity, payload, and BPN. In addition, the cracking probability of the proposed modified scheme is more complex than the original TLSM. © 2018 IEEE.

AB - The amount of operational data being generated at an exponential rate in various spheres of computing, in turn, has culminated in a pressure on the available silicon memory-constrained by its limited capacity. In recent times, research has been undertaken on DNA computing for memory technology where nucleic acid memory (NAM) was formulated and found to be an efficient alternative for storing a large amount of digital data in the molecular space. This work presents a new encoding scheme which efficiently maps the binary data into a hybrid system of standard as well as non-standard genetic nucleotides to achieve a higher data capacity. Comparative studies have been done with existing encoding schemes, moreover, this work demonstrates the use of unnatural base pairs like Ds-Px and Im-Na which exhibit high stability and high selectivity in a DNA molecule. First, if you're saving to Zotero from a supported site like Scopus, there's no reason you would export to RIS to save a single item or a small number of items. You would use the Zotero Connector's save button:
https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero#via_your_web_browser
If that's not working, let us know exactly what's happening.
You still shouldn't get the message about Zotero not being open unless the Zotero app actually isn't open, though, so you may need to see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable (and the save button would show an error dialog with a link to that page if that's the case).
The RIS above imports fine into Zotero for me, though. You should be able to select the lines above and go to File → Import from Clipboard in Zotero. If that's not working, can you provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails?
I tried all your suggetions but unfortunately none of them worked :-(
First, there is only a "snapshot" button of zotero connector on the website I write above, so I cant just save the 43 references. No folder icon here.
(website url here:https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85060014819&doi=10.1109/ICOASE.2018.8548863&partnerID=40&md5=ba38809e6fd60c86677ca3061edfaf9e)
Second, the message "zotero unavailable" only shows when I use the website I write above and click "import as ris".However, this won't happen on other webistes. Here is the DEBUG ID: D1178032673
Third, Import from Clipboard doesn't work, still shows "imported 0 items",Here is the DEBUG ID: D179616300.
Importing ris file shows the same result, and its DEBUG ID: D2112829147
Importing bib file shows "unsupported format", DEBUG ID: D1166755263
Really thank you for solving my problems.
Reset your translators from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences, and then do the same from the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences (right-click on save button and choose Options/Preferences).
You should then be able to use the save button normally on Scopus and also import files successfully.
That PERFECTLY solved my problems!!!
