American Psychological Association 7th edition
Hello,
The WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES has citation used by American Psychological Association 7th edition (APA 7th) for the references.
The following is their example:
Reference to a journal publication:
Van der Geer, J., Hanraads, J. A. J., & Lupton, R. A. (2010). The art of writing a scientific article. Journal of Scientific Communications, 163, 51–59. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.sc.2010.00372.
The current APA 7th includes a issue number like this:
Nehring, I., Schmoll, S., Beyerlein, A., Hauner, H., & von Kries, R. (2011). Gestational weight gain and long-term postpartum weight retention: A meta-analysis. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 94(5), 1225–1231. https://doi.org/10.3945/ajcn.111.015289
Does anyone know how to remove issue numbers from the citations? Or if there is another version that I can choose from?
Thank you!

yangkaren1Just to clarify: I want to publish in The WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES. I know there is one call "The WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES" but the style is exactly the same as APA 7th. Thanks!

adamsmithI see the guidance have issue number, but they're strongly recommended in APA 7 (which the journal explicitly references) and looking at the journal, do appear to be in articles' bibliographies. Unless the editors' complain, I'd submit with the current style.
