Find-as-you-type not working in new install, Windows 11

Just installed Zotero 6.0.18 on a new laptop with Windows 11 and find-as-you-type isn't working (nothing happens). Is this a setting I've forgotten about? Thanks!
  • No, it's not a setting. Could you explain exactly what you're trying?

    Note that it searches based on the active column.
  • Thanks for replying, Dan. Your 'note' actually helped me fix it already. I had Creator sorted and active, and nothing would happen, even with restarts. But then I switched to sort by Title and it worked fine. I then re-sorted by Creator, and it's working as expected. Can't tell you why it wasn't working in the first place.
