Syncing citations keys between different computers

Hello,
I recently switched to zotero from Mendeley.
I am using zotero on two different computers, using the built-in sync to sync everything except the pdf files, which I sync separately using SyncThing.
My problem is that citations keys are sometimes different on both machines.
I use BetterBibTeX to export my library (and keep it up to date -- this is only set on one machine). When working on the other machine, the citation keys often dont match the saved .bib file.
Is there a way to sync the citation keys as well?
  • That would be a question for the BBT developer. Zotero doesn't have a Citation Key field yet (other than for the new Preprint type).
  • And you're sure you're using BBT to export on both machines? Pretty sure the citation keys should be stable on sync with that.
  • Thanks for the reply.
On the other machine I simply copy the citation key, either from the info panel or by right click and choosing the BBT option. That machine does not export the citations (although I tried and it didnt change the keys).

I'll ask this on the BBT github page.
