Unable to cite with Zotero anymore
Report ID: 902892312
I copied a paragraph from my first version google doc file and pasted it to my second version google doc file, in which there is a citation of two papers (Of course the cited paper are already cited in my second version). In my second version, I want to add a third paper. However, because I manually removed the initial of the first and middle name of the author of one paper that is already cited, Zotero asks me if I agree Zotero to return to the original one, I agreed but it turned out an error I could not understand and ever since then, I cannot cite with Zotero in neither google docs nor Microsoft Word.
Does anyone know the solution? Do I have to uninstall Zotero and reinstall it? If so, will the papers I read in Zotero with marks get removed?
Thanks in advance!

After that, you should just delete the two citations completely and reinsert them.
"An error occurred submitting your report.
undefined is not an object (evaluating 'Zotero.Date.dateToSQL')"
after I tried to use Zotero to cite anything from library to google docs (This fails again and showed an error: [JavaScript Error: "Method document/execCommand failed global code@connector.js:283:58"]
Also, I have tried to delete the two citation completely. But I cannot insert any citation in google doc and Microsoft Word. Do you mean to also delete these two papers in the Zotero library?
Thanks again for your patience.
Beyond that, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents for how to isolate the problem in a broken document. I'm not really sure what you mean by this, though. This was about Google Docs. What does Word have to do with it? Are you saying you can't add a citation in an empty Word document either? What happens, exactly? Have you tried restarting your computer?
If you're sure that's not the problem, can you provide another Debug ID from Zotero after restarting Zotero and reproducing this, but this time make sure you wait for the initial auto-sync to complete? There's a lot of extra output in there from that.
Thanks anyways! At least I can cite in other google doc files, lol.
