Start Zotero storage sync again from scratch

Hi.

I deleted a Zotero collection by mistake. I had to restore from a backup sqlite file, which worked. Unbelievable that there’s no undelete/restore facility in Zotero for collections, but anyway…

Once I had the collection restored, each time I synced the restored collection would get wiped out because the deletion had already been synced to the Zotero storage servers.

I reset the sync files, competed a new sync.

But the files from the restored collection are not showing up in Zotero storage.

I’m quite happy to start the syncing from scratch. What’s the best way to do this? Do I unlink the sync? And then…?

what exactly do you mean by that? Which option did you use?

But the files from the restored collection are not showing up in Zotero storage.

Do you actually mean attached files here, or Zotero items?

I tried both. I first tried “Replace online library,” which didn’t work.

And then I tried “Reset File Sync History,” which didn’t work either.

The restored folder on Zotero storage is missing both Zotero items and attached files. There is absolutely nothing in that folder.

Replace online library should definitely work. Silly question, but you actually pressed the "Reset" button after selecting that option?
