Hello, our institution is thinking about using Zotero. We have seen there is a subscription for institutions to host the storage. However, we want to know if it is possible to host the storage ourselves so we do not need the subscription.

No. An institutional subscription is the way to provide personal and group storage to all Zotero users at your institution.
