Question regarding bibliography

Hey all, this might be a stupid question but im nearing the end of my MA thesis and i have alot of footnotes that ive had through Zotero. They are arranged in two folders (literature and primary sources) which have some additional sources that i do not use in my thesis. Seems simple enough to arrange things through folders, but that means alot of digging on my part to check whichsources are used or not. Is there any way to organize the bibliography simply based on the type of source? I only need a simple primary source and literature division.
