Is it possible to reduce size of area highlights ?

Area highlights ("Select area") use a lot of space. 50 area highlights I made in a single PDF use 180Mo, which is equivalent 20% of all the space of my Zotero/storage.

Is there an option to choose image quality so they use less space ?

    A possible workaround on Windows is to go to Zotero folder where images are saved, and use ImageResizer (https://www.bricelam.net/ImageResizer/) to resize all the images.

    But is there already an option in Zotero to choose image quality (of "Select Area" in the PDF reader) ? If not, is such option planned in Zotero 7 ?
