Add/Edit Citation does not work correctly in LibreOffice Writer when called via shortcut

I set up a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+.) for adding citations following this instruction in LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. However, when I press the shortcut, the small window with the selection menu opens but I there is only one citation available in the list, the Zotero Quickstart (saying hello and welcome for installing Zotero). If in contrast I use the mouse to click on the button Add/Edit, I can access my whole bibliography (as it should).

Under Tools > Customize I can see that the shortcut calls the function vnd.sun.star.script:Zotero.Zotero.ZoteroAddNote?language=Basic&location=application.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? What can I do to set up the shortcut correctly?

Your shortcut should call ZoteroAddEditCitation. Your shortcut is now the same as clicking the Add Note button in the extension, which is used to insert notes, not items. See https://www.zotero.org/blog/#adding_notes_to_word_processors
