    Meaning what? What are you expecting to happen?

    Purging storage deletes all associated files in your online personal library. It's not something you would ever want to use if you were still going to be using file syncing for your personal library. You would use it if you wanted to disable file syncing for My Library and only use your storage quota for group file syncing.

    If you still have the My Library files locally and want to force Zotero to reupload them, you can use Reset File Sync History from the Sync → Reset pane of the preferences.
