Is it possible to have all citations added to a folder in Zotero automatically added to a .bib file?

I plan on using Zotero to manage citations for my master's and probably even my doctorate, but one feature that would be incredibly helpful is if Zotero automatically updated (by adding the new citations) a .bib file I have whenever I add new citations to a particular folder. I know I can export selected citations in Zotero to a .bib file using the "Export Items..." option, but is it possible to make this automatic whenever I add a new file to a particular folder in Zotero? This would make Zotero just so much more helpful for me. If you have some hacks to solve this problem that require you to know my platform, it's Arch Linux. Thank you for your time and expertise.
