Tiller HQ google sheet incompatibility

I spent the better part of month diagnosing an issue with the TillerHQ budget/money google sheet. The sheet is complex no doubt and had been running error free for nearly 2 years on my Apple silicon MacBook pro.

After removing the other plug ins and extensions it was the Zotero connector that was blocking the Tiller HQ sheet from doing its work.

The Tiller sheet ran on my iPad when the sheet was run on the web, in other words without using the google sheets IOS app, with Zotero app installed.

Right now on my MacBook running Ventura I have Zotero unchecked on the Safari settings extension tab and all seems to be working.

This might be a long shot but I thought I would ask.

Thank you all,
Brian
  • This seems incredibly unlikely since Zotero isn't even active in google sheets?
  • I agree. I did see Google Doc integration in the connector settings. They were both checked.

However, to make sure I was not mistaken, I removed the connector and the tiller spreadsheet worked. Added it back they failed.
  • Can you provide a Debug ID for loading the page and reproducing the problem? And what's the actual problem?

If this isn't on docs.google.com, it wouldn't be related to Google Docs integration, which is limited to that domain.
  • Report ID: 112126818

Problem is when Zotero connector is enabled in Safari the Tiller HQ google sheet does not run. It opens and the data in sheets can be seen but no functions like retrieving data from banks, creating balances work. When the Zotero connector is not enabled the Tiller sheet runs as expected.

For context, Google Tiller ran uninterrupted for nearly 24 months. When Zotero connector was installed it stopped running.

Let me now what else you'd like. Thank you

  • That’s not a Debug ID. See my link.
  • When I click submit output I get this error

An error occurred submitting your report.

undefined is not an object (evaluating 'Zotero.Date.dateToSQL')

Please check your internet connection. If the problem persists, post a message to the Zotero Forums.

Sorry, it looks like there's a problem with debug output submission in the current Safari extension. We'll fix that, but can you clear the output, generate it again, click on View Output, copy that into an email, and email it to us at support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

@brian304: I'm not seeing any loading of Google Sheets in the debug output you sent — just loading random other websites.
