Can't access PDF in Zotero library after sync and storage upgrade

Hello,

I recently got a new laptop so I downloaded Zotero and synced my ID to the computer. However, I can only view PDFs in the group library, and I cannot access them.

1. After downloading Zotero, I synced with my ID.
2. I tried to access PDFs, but I kept getting the following message.

The attached file could not be found at the following path:
C:\Users\catal\Zotero\storage\GF9JFSK6\Paine and Anderson - 1977 - Contingencies Affecting Strategy Formulation and E.pdf
It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or, if the file was added on another computer, it may not yet have been synced to zotero.org.

With some PDS, I received the following message.
Invalid or corrupted PDF file.

3. Clicked "Locate" -> But it went to "my folder" ->"Zotero"->"storage" where there were many folders and I didn't know which folder to select.
4. Clicked "More information" -> Followed steps to "Sync" → "Reset File Sync History for the library" but this did not work also.
5. I also purchased additional Zotero storage in hope of solving this problem.

Can you pls help me?

    You were at your file storage quota, and haven't synced on the original computer since upgrading. Files that were never online because you were out of space wouldn't be available anywhere else yet.

    Note that Zotero on the other computer would've been showing you a warning on every sync that you were out of storage space and files weren't being uploaded.

    What about the files that were saved within the storage quota? How come these cannot be accessed? It appears that ALL the files in Zotero cannot be accessed.
  • Those files would be accessible. That's currently 339 files.
