problem scrolling through sources

When I open up a collection and click on a source in the middle column and have the right-hand column open to the source's "Info," I can no longer scroll down the list of sources in the middle column, as I am used to doing. Now, instead of allowing me to scroll up and down the list of sources (with the open source in the middle column highlighted in blue), whenever I click the up or down button on my keypad, the source goes from blue to gray and the "Author" box in the "Info" column is highlighted. Can you explain how I can fix so it stops doing this? I can send screen shots to show you what I'm talking about.
