Upgrade StorageZotero can't locate any pdf, possibly due to some changes in one synced instance

I have a few a few instances of Zotero (2 laptops) sharing the same account and I have been syncing between them. A few days ago in one of them I installed Zotfile and made a few changes (selected a rename schema and renamed all the pdfs and a new catalog to save the pdfs and a new folder structure). Well it didn't go as expected (but that is another question) however that instance was still usable. Fast forward to now, my other instance can't access any of the PDFs in my catalog. Any ideas?

markdimiAfter writing this I noticed that whenever I was going to open a pdf, it was looking for it in the newly appointed folder directory. But in this instance I don't have the new folders, nor the renamed files. How can this be mediated?

dstillmanYou converted all the files to linked files, so unless they exist at the same path on all your computers, you'd have to set up a linked attachment base directory.
