Error message after upgrading to 2.0
After I upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0, Firefox keeps reporting a 0x80004005 error code anytime I try to handle Zotero stuff in MS Word. Specifically, it says: "Zotero experienced an error updating your document; Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)[zoteroIntegrationDocument.getFields]"
Often, though not always, this results in Firefox crashing (it reports a crash and re-starts itself).
Other than that, Zotero seems to work OK - I can add or edit any items in Zotero library in Firefox, I just cannot use any Zotero related functionality in MS Word (even in empty document, let alone in my half-finished paper).
I tried exporting my library, and importing it to another computer with zotero 1: when I use Zotero RDF, it does not seem to work (it takes forever, never finishing the porcess of importing), when I use other formats, it looks OK as far as import goes, but citations in my paper are not recognized (they look OK, but cannot be edited).
Any ideas about solving this issue, particularly about salvaging my paper? Thanks so much. Dan Stastny

Provide a Report ID after getting the error. If you're getting an error in Word, post it here or send a screenshot to support@zot....org, with a link to this thread.

MS Word never crashes so I would say I am not getting any error byWord (although it happens exclusively while working in Word).
Sorry, if this does not make sense :)
Do you have the latest version of the integration plugin?
It'd also be helpful if you could provide the Firefox crash report. If you go to about:crashes in the Firefox address bar, you should see a list of recent crashes. Clicking on the relevant one should take you to a Mozilla page, where it should generate a report. You can send that URL to support@zot....org with a link to this thread (or post it here if you don't see any private information in the report).
I would say I do have the latest integration plugin: 3.0a3 (when I click on Integration Preferences and press "Reinstall Word Components", shouldn't it reinstall the zotero.dot file? I noticed the date remains unchanged...)
The crash report is here: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/7c0fd17d-ff97-4317-bc24-577512091122
But it does not happen always, in fact the last one happened two weeks ago.
Here are some previous crashes caused by the same problem:
