Upgrade StorageChange the prepopulated Zotfile default folder
Hi,
I am trying to change the default folder location for Zotfile and hoped someone here might be able to help me.
I recently changed computers and my zotero got ported along with me to my new computer. Every time I open Zotero I have re-change the default location of Zotfile as it still is looking for a folder on my old computer that no longer exists.
For example:
I go to, Tools -> Zotfile preferences and then in the "Source folder for attaching new files" or "location of files" section, my directory is /Users/oldcomputer/Zotero and I have to change it to /Users/newcomputer/Zotero every time I want to use Zotfile. Is there a way to change this so that the folders don't repopulate and stay by default as "/Users/newcomputer/Zotero" ? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling zotfile but that didn't fix the issue.
I mainly use this feature to backup my library to my google drive to sync my files to my tablet.
I am on mac Montery v12.3.1 and I am using Zotero 6.0.15
