Juris-M: Can no longer import books from Worldcat

Previously, through the Juris-M
Connector Firefox (V5.0.93.4) I could import book data from WorldCat into Juris-M (V5.0.93m18) ('Save to Juris-M').

Since WorldCat's website was redesigned, this is no longer working. The icon to import the information in Juris-M does not change to a book anymore. Is this a known problem? Is there a solution for this?
  • Sorry, Jurism is no longer supported by its developer.

The Zotero Connector is compatible with the new WorldCat site — though we're investigating an issue where the page sometimes isn't detected properly when moving between pages until you reload — but I don't know if the Jurism Connector is set up to use the latest Zotero translators.

Thanks dstillman. I switched from Zotero to JurisM years ago, because Zotero did not make language distinctions in the same style. Everything was conducted in English. Eg.
    - Stilman, David (Ed.), Zotero: A new Brilliant Tool (New York: Publy, 2022).

In JurisM, I could indicate in the 'language' field whether it was non-English literature. The style then followed that language. E.g..
    - Stilman, David (Hrsg.), Zotero: Eine neues Briljantes Instrument (Berlin: Publy, 2022).
    - Stilman, David (ed.), Zotero: A new brilliant tool (Amsterdam: Publy, 2022).
    - Stilman, David (Ed.), Zotero: A new Brilliant Tool (New York: Publy, 2022).

Do you know Zotero currently supports that option yet?
  • Not officially (and none of the standard styles do), but it does understand those components of CSL-m so it's doable.
