PDF Citation can't be found

I have saved a PDF in my Zotero library which I now want to quote in my word. However zotero is not able to find the PDF if I click "add/edit citation" in word although I can see it in my library.

You can only cite regular items, not attachments. You'll want to create a parent item with metadata.
