Style Request: Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences
I would greatly appreciate some help in creating a citation style for the Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences.
Similar style: American Journal of Psychiatry
Differences from similar style:
1) Citation number should be surrounded by {curly brackets}, not (parentheses)
2) Bibliography should be double-spaced throughout
3) Only up to 3 authors should be listed. If more than 3, last author should be followed by et al. e.g., Robinson RG, Lipsey JR, Rao K, et al
4) No punctuation at the end of bibliographic listings.
5) Bibliography listing for a book chapter: Only first word of chapter title should be capitalized. Chapter title should be followed by ", in [book title], 1st edition, edited by [editor(s)]." Publication city, publisher, and year should all be followed by commas. Page numbers are preceded by "pp" without a period.
6) Bibliography listing for a book: Listing should start with editor's name, e.g., Smith J (ed). Publication city and publisher should be followed by commas.
6) Journal article: Journal title should NOT be followed by a period. No punctuation between journal title and year.

I haven't been able to find a free article published by this journal. I could potentially email out a .pdf sample? Let me know what other information would be helpful.
Thanks!

Download the style file using the "Raw" link on the top right.
Then install by dragging the file to an open Firefox window.
Please report back with any problems or to let me know that all is well and the style can be uploaded.
I've left the capitalization of the chapter title as is (i.e. whatever you have in Zotero)- while it's possible to force sentence case I don't like to do that because it will also take out the capitalization of proper names etc. It's generally recommended to save your titles using sentence case as it's easier to shift to title case.
