Zotero crashes - iPhone 14 pro – iOS 16.0.2

Hi

new iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 16.0.2 and Zotero installed. Alle 1000 Items loaded with pdf but one. Luhmann, Hirnpotentiale, pdf, 2020, Springer.

There is one item, thats makes Zotero crash immediately.

I did delete and import again from Firefox. Then I did import again the pdf that is available from unibe.ch. I restarteted the iPhone 14 and Zotero and loaded the 6.4 MB-pdf-Book again. Again crash ...
I deleted the whole item incl. pdf from Zotero, did reload. Without the pdf no problem, with the pdf, crash.

A pdf too much? 60 GB free on the iPhone 14, 300 MB free on Zotero (1.7 GB).

Where is the problem? On the iPad no problem, on macbook air no problem, on macmini no problem.

NB: On the (stolen) iPhone 13 pro there was no such problem.

@AlexBauert can you send us the Report ID that shows up on screen after the crash? I see you sent us your database files to support@zotero.org, which is great, but I don't see the report ID included anywhere. Sorry if I missed it.

@AlexBauert nevermind, I was actually able to reproduce the issue now. No need to send anything else!

Edit: It's fixed and should be available on TestFlight soon.

@AlexBauert: Just to confirm, were you seeing this with the beta version of the iOS app via TestFlight, or was this with the App Store version? What version number do you see at the bottom of the app's settings pane?

It was on both, iPad and iPhone the version from App Store.

iPad: Version 1.04 Build 19
iPhone 1.07 Build 5

You should be running 1.0.7 on both devices.

If you're still seeing this with 1.0.7, please provide the Report ID that shows up after the crash.

Hogrefe, the editor writes, there is no problem with the pdf.
So I suppose it is only Zotero.

I finish here my support and hope, in a year or so, this bug will be fixed.

We fixed the problem with the PDF you sent originally. If you're still getting a crash with 1.0.7, send the PDF in question to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
