Upload bibtex format file to create collections on the Web Library

Is it possible to upload bibtex files and create a web library? Or do I have to import on my desktop and then sync with the web?

    Searching on the forums says that the web interface is not meant to import bibtex. I have to do this on a local installation and then sync with the web library.

    correct, yes. No import on the website.
