Upgrade StorageFile name bug: "Attached file could not be found. It may have been moved or deleted."
I tried to open a PDF that I had just dragged into Zotero. Didn't work. I read support page https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing but my problem didn't have w syncing to do. Not with storage quota either.
Bakground: I had printed a web article in Firefox as a PDF to my disk and then dragged it into Zotero and happened to note that Firefox/Mac had given the file an awkward long file name. I just give the relevant part of its here: ".....Masculinity/ ?An.....pdf"
Solution: Turned out when I removed the "/ ?" part from the file name and dragged it into Zotero, then I could open it. I repeated it a few times and at least with this file it was consistent.
