Accidentally deleted two folders

    I accidentally deleted two folders with the items in it. The content was very organised (took me 3 days) and I now have more than just the content of these 2 folders in the bin. Is it somehow possible to restore the 2 folders exactly like they were?
    I only see the option to restore everything in the trash or all studies one by one, which isn't really an option for me. Would be very happy if someone could help me!

    If you just did this, you may be able to restore from one of Zotero's automatic backups. That section has specific instructions for restoring a deleted collection, though if the items in the trash you may also need to restore them from the trash after syncing — the new collection you created may initially show up empty due to the items being in trash.

    Before doing anything, you should immediately make a copy of the .bak files in your Zotero data directory.

    An upcoming version of Zotero will make it possible to restore collections from the trash.
