Upgrade StorageZotero Crashes every time I add an in-text citation

When I tried to add an in-text citation Zotero crashed and it closed the word document with it, at first, I thought because the version of the document was on the cloud with auto-save on, which made me save my document as an offline copy, but the same problem continued and because I wasn't saving constantly, I lost two paragraphs in the crash.
I tried to follow the troubleshooting guide and I restarted my document and Zotero, I even moved my content to a new document but it did not work, and the crashes are so unpredictable it does not allow me to save my work before everything goes to hell.
Please help, I have finals coming up and I need Zotero's blessings.

dstillmanGenerally speaking, a Word crash would be a Word bug. What exact version of Word is this?
