Word plugin is very slow

The plugin takes about 30 seconds to find each reference, and I have hundreds to do in the next couple days (as well as many other things). I am guessing this is because I have 44,000 items in my library. Would it be faster if I set up a new account? It is also slow scrolling through PDFs, especially ones with images (even very small ones).

    Have you disabled automatic citation updates from the plugin's Document Preferences window?

    If it's still slow, can you provide a Debug ID that shows a slow operation?
