Zotero desktop app hightlight clunky

Since yesterday, my Mac version Zotero App's highlight function got very clunky. When I highlighted something, it did not show. After a while, it showed repeated highlights. My comment on the highlight was not saved as well. I also can't add a sticky note to the document too. Did anyone experience the same problem?
