Merging duplicated items does not function

Hello everyone,

I want to merge my duplicate items in Zotero. So I click on the merge item button, but nothing happens. Is there any idea where the problem issue comes from?

    What exactly are you trying? See Steps to Reproduce.

    If you select multiple items in the regular items list, right-click, and choose "Merge Items…", you still need to choose to merge them in the right-hand pane.

    If you're in the Duplicate Items collection and you select a set of items, you would then merge from the right-hand pane.

    If you're trying one of those things and it's not working, we'd want to see a Debug ID for an attempt that fails.

    Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through loading Duplicate Items view and trying to merge items, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
