Item with correct date in metadata showing as "in pres"

This discussion was created from comments split from: "in press" as item type.
  • Hi

I have an "in press" error.
An article that was published in 2014, with correct date in metadata, shows as (Author 1 et al., in press), instead of (Author 1 et al., 2014), when I use Harvard referencing. Has anyone come across this error or know how to address it?

I'd guess that the citation just isn't linked to the item — e.g., you have a duplicate or deleted item. If you delete the citation in the document and reinsert it, being sure to choose the item from your library in the search results, does this still happen?
  • And if it does still happen, could you please specify the exact citation style -- there are dozens of "Harvard" styles available for Zotero
