google docs: cursor is off after using zotero to add citations

Hi, I'm working on a manuscript in google docs. Editing works fine, and the cursor shows the expected behavior when moving (e.g. with the keys or mouse). However after using zotero to insert a citation, the cursor is off and although I can see it, I cannot place it correctly using the mouse (clicking between two words makes the cursor appear one or two lines above).

This is on google chrome Version 106.0.5249.103 (Official Build) (64-bit), Zotero Connector version 5.0.98. (also using the PubPeer extension, version 1.6.2).

    Can you take make a screen recording, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox or Google Drive), and provide a link here, and also provide a Report ID from the Zotero Connector?

    Also, can you reproduce this in a new document?
