In-text citing in Excel or a database?
We are trying to track a large number of studies, and we would like to use Excel (or something comparable) to organize the studies by platform, intervention, outcomes, etc. Rather than pasting in the new studies as they are published, is there a way to do in-text citing like we do for Word? That is, is there a plug-in for Excel or other similar programs to handle this?

adamsmithNo, sorry, Excel just doesn't have the same features as Word that would allow this -- but what exactly is the goal of the plug-in here? In Word it'd be to have citations update & create a reference list/bibliography in the end, but that doesn't seem relevant here?

DWL-SDCAAre you requesting a plug-in utility that would, as items are added to a Zotero library, also add the item to a spreadsheet file (maybe via a CSV export)? I know someone who tried to develop such a utility but failed.
