Focus on the central panel

How can I focus on the central panel (the one with the papers) using the keyboard?

The [documentation](https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/keyboard_shortcuts) has only a keyboard shorcut to focus on the left pane.

Currently to focus on the central pane I have to do CTRL+SHIFT+L to focus on the left pane, and then click TAB 4 (four) times.

I can't even figure out what is being focused the first three times.
  • Not natively in Zotero, but the Zutilo add-on has a configurable short cut to "focus Item pane," that for me works to focus on the center panel (not clear on terminology here, I thought the item panel was on the right)
I can't even figure out what is being focused the first three times.
It goes into the tag selector -- 1. tags, 2. tag search 3. tag options

  • Thank you very much!

It looks like in Zutilo parlance, "Item pane" is the right panel, while "Items pane" is the central one (notice the additional `s` in the end).

For future reference, the item to bind is called "Items pane: Focus".

For some reason, if I bind it to CTRL+SHIFT+K, it doens't issue any warning, but the search bar is focused instead of the panel.

It works if I bind it to CTRL+SHIFT+J ...

Edit: Thanks for pointing out the s, I had indeed missed that.

CTRL+Shift+K is Zotero's built in focus on the quick search bar, so that's just Zutilo missing the conflict for some reason.
  • They say Zotero uses different ways to register shortcuts: https://github.com/wshanks/Zutilo/issues/238#issuecomment-1270852380
