Moving from Mendeley to Zotero when PDF are not online
To import my library from Mendeley to Zotero, I understand to maintain the PDFs associated to a reference entry I must have the PDFs in the Mendeley server online.
My PDFs take a few GB of space on my disk, I don't use online storage.
In my case, would it be possible to to do the shift to Zotero in parts? Eg., uploading a certain collection to the Mendeley server at a time and importing it to Zotero. Then I would delete that collection from Mendeley, free the online storage space and upload the next. Would this be the only way? Thanks. I have been stuck with this for years.

dstillmanI guess in theory? That's not something we've tested, but our importer is designed to allow repeat imports without creating duplicates, so I can't think of a reason this wouldn't work.
