Just tested it and it seems to work perfectly. Many thanks, once again.
-
Yes, it did indeed work correctly now. Many thanks for this!

Many thanks for this. The translator now does indeed now show as "Edinburgh University Press Journals". However, no PDFs are downloaded as attachment, in my few trials.

Just a brief update, for those interested, that Bookends can now import PDFs using the RIS format.
-
Hello. Just wondering if this is looking any more likely, now that the specs have been found. Many thanks for your time.

You're right...it is working. I don't know what caused me to receive that error two days ago. Thank you for looking into it, and for considering writing a translator for the site, as it does contain a number of important journals for the humanities.

As of today (Dec 17), it now is not even downloading the bibliographic information via the DOI, giving instead an error. Do let me know if more information is needed to address this. Many thanks.

Thank you, adamsmith, for that clarification. Indeed, when hovering over the translator, only "DOI" shows. Is this the proper place to make a request for an euppublishing translator, then?

Thank you. The batch download -- with PDF -- is now working. Many thanks.

Excellent. It now works perfectly. Many thanks.

For example: http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/brill/arab/2012/00000059/00000006/art00003 . I am using the FF plugin, though trying the standalone I had the same issue.

Have there been any updates or further ideas as to the implementation of (book) reviews in the past year?
-
The automatic PDF saving for IngentaConnect no longer seems to work. Is this a known issue?

Thank you both. Some of the discussions in the links above indicate that Endnote XML has not been implemented due to lack of public specs and/or instability ("moving target)". I asked Jon, the developer of Bookends, about this as he has implemented…
-
Thank you, Adam. Yes, that is all clear to me, and I have been using it. But the developer of Bookends is clear that he is happy to implement L1 field support to transfer the attachment over, but only *if* some major bibliographic software supports…

Hello, reviving an old post for the sake of absolute paths. I too am trying to ensure that I can move entries between Zotero and Bookends. The developer of Bookends is willing to change his RIS import feature to include the L1 attachment field, but …

My apologies -- it seems I had mistaken a list on a Wiki page as "official". Looking at the refman list, you are correct: T2 is for journal full title (as well as series titles for edited books, etc.), while J2 seems to be for the short name of the …

I'd like to stress the need for a better treatment of review articles. Much of what researchers using JSTOR access are review articles; the current output doesn't assist, and -- in fact, if Zotero is used in conjunction with a desktop Biblio app (li…
